Discover some of Venice’s secret gardens, often hidden behind the facades and walls of its magnificent palaces

Venice is often imagined as a maze of streets and canals: you will be surprised to discover that there are more than 500 gardens in this city, a bigger number  than the almost 400 bridges that cross its canals. Stroll through areas less known by tourists and visit some of Venice’s enchanting gardens: public parks where local families hang out, inner courtyards of Venetian palaces and idyllic vegetable gardens of ancient monasteries. You can relax in an oasis of silence and nature, breathing deeply the scent of trees and some aromatic plants and delighting your eyes with the kaleidoscopic games of color of flowers.
